Qassam brigades reveal fate of Abu Obeida’s body after bloody Israeli strikes

GAZA, Feb. 14 (YPA) – A military source in the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades said the body of their spokesperson, Abu Obeida, has not been recovered following intense Israeli bombardment that reportedly targeted his location along with several members of his family.

The source stated that the force of the explosions left no trace of the body.

According to a report published by Al Jazeera, six bombs were dropped on the site where Abu Obeida was said to have been present, contributing to what has been described as a phenomenon of bodies “evaporating” under heavy bombardment during the war in Gaza.

The source added that this was not an isolated case, citing estimates from Gaza’s civil defense authorities that more than 3,000 bodies have gone missing amid the ongoing Israeli aggressive campaign.
