SAADA, Feb. 11 (YPA) – The Criminal Court in Saada Governorate issued a ruling on Wednesday convicting four individuals of espionage and aiding the Saudi-led coalition countries in the war against the Republic of Yemen.
The verdict, delivered during a session presided over by Judge Anwar Al-Moalimi and attended by Prosecutor Judge Sharaf Al-Habashi, sentenced three of the convicts to death. The fourth individual was sentenced to 15 years in prison, effective from the date of his arrest.
According to the indictment, the Specialized Criminal Prosecution had charged the defendants with communicating with the enemy during the recent period with the intent to harm the political and military standing of the Republic of Yemen, while providing assistance to the coalition forces.
