Three Lebanese killed, including child, in Israeli airstrike on southern Lebanon

BEIRUT, Feb. 10 (YPA) – Three Lebanese, including a child, were killed on Monday in an Israeli airstrike that targeted a vehicle in the town of Yanooh, in the Tyre district of southern Lebanon, in a new violation of the ceasefire that has been in effect since 2024.

The Lebanese Ministry of Health stated in an official statement that “the Israeli airstrike on the town of Yanooh resulted in the martyrdom of three citizens, including a child aged three.”

Earlier in the Monday morning, the Lebanese news agency reported, citing an official source, that “Israeli drone strikes targeted a vehicle in the center of Yanooh, Tyre district.”

The agency added that “ambulances were immediately dispatched to the targeted location, and several wounded were transported to nearby hospitals.”
