Several Palestinians detained during Israeli raids in West Bank

WEST BANK, Feb. 08 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of raids across multiple West Bank areas early Sunday, making arrests, firing live ammunition, and pursuing vehicles, Palestinian sources reported.

In Nablus, Israeli occupation forces arrested a man after raiding his home in the Al-Noor neighborhood, along with two young men from the village of Asira al-Qibliya south of the city.

An ex-detainee from the town of Shawahneh near the Rifidia neighborhood was also taken into custody, while additional homes were raided in the Ein refugee camp.

In Hebron, Israeli military vehicles were deployed in the northern towns of Al-Sheikh and Sa’ir, where three Palestinians were arrested, along with two brothers and a teenager from the Al-Arroub refugee camp.

In Tulkarm, occupation soldiers reportedly opened fire on a Palestinian vehicle and pursued it in the Jabal Al-Nasr area near the Nur Shams refugee camp.

Local sources reported that Israeli forces used live ammunition during a raid in the town of Al-Zababda, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank.

The occupation forces also raided the town of Qarawat Bani Hassan west of Salfit, while house searches and raids took place in the towns of Al-Ubeidiya and Dar Salah east of Bethlehem.
