Meteorology warns of weather fluctuations, maritime disturbances within 24 hours

SANAA, Jan. 18 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning issued a warning, on Sunday, to fishermen and seafarers south of the western coast and Bab al-Mandab Strait about rough seas and high waves.

In its weather bulletin, the center reiterated its warnings to citizens in the mountainous highlands, deserts, and interior plateaus about cold and very cold weather, especially for the elderly, children, the sick, and those working at night and in the early morning.

It advised farmers to take appropriate measures to protect crops from the effects of the cold, and called on those coming to cold regions to take the necessary precautions to protect themselves from cold shocks.
