GAZA, Jan. 14 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army continued on Wednesday to violate the ceasefire agreement, as its warplanes carried out several airstrikes on the southern Gaza city of Rafah.
Meanwhile, Israeli artillery bombardment and heavy gunfire targeted eastern areas of the Strip, causing injuries and fatalities among civilians.
Moreover, Israeli warplanes launched a series of strikes on the western areas of Rafah, while occupation artillery shelled the city. Israeli helicopters also opened fire on Rafah.
Additionally, Israeli artillery targeted the northeastern areas of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, as Israeli helicopters flew at low altitudes over the city.
The Israeli occupation army continues to violate the Gaza ceasefire agreement, which has been in effect since October 10 of last year.
