At least 71,424 Palestinians killed in Israeli genocidal war on Gaza

GAZA, Jan. 13 (YPA) – At least 71,424 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli occupation’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip since October 2023, the Gaza-based Health Ministry said on Tuesday.

A ministry statement said that seven bodies were brought to hospitals in the last 48 hours, while six people were injured, taking the number of injuries to 171,324 in the Israeli onslaught.

“Many victims are still trapped under the rubble and on the roads as rescuers are unable to reach them,” it added.

The statement revealed that the death toll since the ceasefire on October 11 amounted has to 447 martyrs, with 1246 wounded, in addition to the recovery of the bodies of 697 martyrs.

The ministry further reported the death of a one-year-old child due to extreme cold, raising the total number of child fatalities caused by severe cold since the start of winter to seven.
