Massive rallies sweep Mashhad in support of Islamic Republic

MASHHAD, Jan. 12 (YPA) – Large-scale public demonstrations took place in Mashhad, Iran’s second-largest city, as crowds took to the main streets on Sunday to reaffirm their allegiance to the Islamic Republic, according to state TV.

Participants carried Iranian flags and chanted slogans emphasizing national unity and adherence to revolutionary principles, while voicing a firm rejection of foreign interference in the country’s domestic affairs.
