Palestinian girl killed in new Israeli attacks despite Gaza ceasefire

GAZA, Jan. 08 (YPA) -Israeli occupation forces have carried out seven new attacks in violation of the Gaza ceasefire since early Thursday, including air and artillery strikes and gunfire from military vehicles across the besieged Gaza Strip.

Palestinian local sources reported that a girl was killed on Thursday morning by Israeli fire , which hit the Al-Faluja area west of the Jabalia refugee and displacement camp in northern Gaza. Meanwhile, Israeli artillery shelled the Al-Tuffah neighborhood east of Gaza City.

The same sources said that Israeli military vehicles and helicopters opened fire toward areas east of the Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

Israeli warplanes also carried out two airstrikes at dawn on Thursday targeting eastern areas of Gaza City, while launching two additional strikes on northern Gaza, coinciding with heavy gunfire from military vehicles toward the city’s eastern districts.

Israeli tanks further opened intense fire targeting eastern and southern areas of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
