QUDS, Jan. 04 (YPA) – Israeli researcher and writer Eddie Cohen acknowledged on Saturday there was an important interest for the occupation entity in supporting secession projects in the Yemen’s south, stressing explicitly his support for the secession of southern Yemen.
“There is an interest in separation when there is corruption,” Cohen said in an interview on the Israeli Channel i24NEWS, adding: “I support the separation of Sweida, the Syrian coast and the SDF forces from Syria, as well as to support the separation of southern Yemen.”
This statement revealed, according to observers, the size of the intersection between the “Israeli” vision and the projects of geographical dismantling in the region, in order to weaken the surrounding countries and reshape them into conflicting entities, in order to achieve the long-term strategic interests of the occupation towards achieving the “Greater Israel Project” and allowing the entire region.
