WEST BANK, Dec. 27 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of raids and arrests early on Saturday morning, targeting several Palestinian citizens in various areas of the occupied West Bank.
Israeli occupation army continued its incursion into the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, raiding multiple homes early this morning. Large military forces, accompanied by bulldozers, stormed the town, imposing a curfew.
Qabatiya has been under attack since yesterday, following an incident in which a young man from the town carried out a stabbing and ramming attack in Afula, killing two Zionist settlers and injuring six others, in response to settler violence.
During the ongoing assault on Qabatiya, raids, arrests, road closures, and the destruction of infrastructure have been reported.
In Qalqilya, Israeli occupation forces raided a home during their incursion into the town of ‘Azzun, east of the city.
In Nablus, the occupation forces stormed the Askar al-Jadid refugee camp, raiding several homes and firing live ammunition.
In Tubas, the occupation forces fired smoke grenades in the Al-Thughrah neighborhood, which has been subjected to repeated incursions.
In Ramallah, Israeli occupation forces installed surveillance cameras on a residential building that has been repeatedly raided since yesterday in the western area of Al-Mughayer village, northeast of the city.
