Ansarullah official: STC used as tool to divide Yemen and enable direct Israeli presence

SANAA, Dec. 27 (YPA) -A senior official in Sanaa stated on Saturday that the Southern Transitional Council is being used as a tool to divide Yemen and to facilitate a direct Israeli presence.

Mohammed Al-Farah, a member of the political bureau of Ansarullah, told Al-Mayadeen that the actions carried out by the STC forces do not constitute a national project, but rather represent a purely Emirati tool aimed at fragmenting the country.

He added that developments in southern Yemen are designed to turn the region into an open zone of influence serving external interests and paving the way for direct Israeli involvement.
