Israeli newspaper Haaretz: Netanyahu : Israeli army to intervene in the Red Sea
SANAA, Aug. 2 (YPA) – The Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu has threatened that Israeli army will intervene in Red Sea, according to a report published Wednesday by the Israeli newspaper Haaretz.
He spoke about international coalition will be formed, in which Israel will join to confront what he called “threats against ships in Red Sea.”
The newspaper quoted Israeli defense minister Avigdor Lieberman speaking at a graduation ceremony for Israeli naval, saying, “recently, we have heard of threats to harm Israeli ships in the Red Sea.”
Lieberman continued: “I would like to emphasize: the Israeli military is ready to respond simultaneously on two fronts, and also on the Red Sea.,” as saying.
