Israeli occupation forces continue ceasefire violations in Gaza for 53rd day

GAZA, Dec. 02 (YPA) – For the 53rd consecutive day, the Israeli occupation forces have continued to violate the ceasefire agreement, carrying out airstrikes, artillery shelling, and demolitions of homes across the Gaza Strip.

Early Tuesday, Israeli warplanes launched intensive air raids on the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, while residential buildings were demolished in the north of the Strip.

Additionally, the occupation forces detonated explosive-laden drones and armored vehicles near the Shujaiya junction in the Al-Shaaf area, east of Gaza City.

Drones reportedly dropped bombs on homes near the Sanafour junction in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, amid heavy gunfire.

Artillery shelling targeted areas east of Khan Yunis in southern Gaza, while armored vehicles opened fire east of the city.

Local residents said helicopter gunships also struck Rafah in southern Gaza, simultaneously with artillery shelling and heavy fire from military vehicles targeting the north and east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.

In a related development, the Gaza Civil Defense said its teams evacuated dozens of families trapped in the Al-Tuffah neighborhood and rescued five injured people, including two women and two children.
