Israeli occupation opens investigation after failure of operation in Syria Beit Jin

QUDS, Nov. 28 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation army is conducting a preliminary investigation to examine the possibility of leaking sensitive information from within the 210th Division before carrying out the military operation in the town of Beit Jin in the western Damascus countryside.

The investigation came against the background of the attacking force being subjected to a surprise ambush during the incursion, the Hebrew” Walla news ” platform reported on Friday.

In parallel, the Hebrew channel 24i News said that violent confrontations broke out between Israeli soldiers and local residents during an arrest operation in the same town, which led to intermittent clashes punctuated by close-range shootings.

According to Hebrew media reports, about 13 Israeli soldiers were seriously wounded after the field force came under direct fire while entering the area, in one of the most violent incidents faced by the Israeli occupation forces during their operations inside Syrian territory in recent months.
