At least 13 people killed in Israeli attack on Syria

DAMASCUS, Nov. 28 (YPA) – About 13 people were killed and about 20 others injured, including women and children, on Friday following an “Israeli” bombing targeting the town of Beit Jinn of Damascus countryside and Quneitra in southern Syria.

Syria news agency “SANA” said that the Israeli occupation forces opened fire on civilians in the countryside of Quneitra after a popular event organized in support of the unity of Syria and rejection of the crimes of the Israeli occupation in southern Syria.

In the Damascus countryside, state media outlets affirmed that a number of residents were still under the rubble of destroyed buildings, amid information about an exodus from the area.

According to these outlets, the shelling came after an Israeli military patrol entered the town and surrounded it, which led to violent clashes with residents before the withdrawal of the “Israeli” force.

Simultaneously with the events, other confrontations broke out between the Israeli occupation army and local citizens during an arrest operation in the same town, according to the Hebrew channel “24i news”, while the Syrian Foreign Ministry condemned the attack and considered it a “full-fledged war crime”.
