Human Rights Center: Israeli occupation has violated ceasefire in Gaza 535 times, killing 350 people
GAZA, Nov. 27 (YPA) – The Gaza Center for Human Rights confirmed on Thursday that Israeli occupation forces have committed 535 violations of the ceasefire agreement since it came into effect on October 10, killing 350 Palestinians and injuring 889 others.
In a statement, the Center clarified that these violations included aerial and artillery shelling, incursions, targeting of civilians, and restricting aid, noting that 60.6% of the injured are children, women, and the elderly.
The Center warned of the exacerbation of the humanitarian catastrophe due to the destruction of homes, reduction of aid, and shortages of fuel and medical equipment, stressing that the continuation of violations “confirms the continuation of the genocidal approach against Palestinians amid suspicious global silence.”
The Center called on the international community to take serious action to ensure the protection of civilians, immediately halt the violations, open investigations, hold the Israeli occupation accountable, and ensure genuine international monitoring of the ceasefire.
