“Hadramout Tribal Alliance” calls for emergency meeting to respond to threats by pro-UAE leader

HADRAMOUT, Nov. 25 (YPA) – The head of the Saudi-aligned “Hadramout Tribal Alliance,” Sheikh Amr bin Habrish Al-Aliyi, called for an emergency meeting of tribal sheikhs and dignitaries next Thursday.

The meeting, which will be held in the Al-Ulaib area in the Ghayl Bin Yamin district, aims to “study the position regarding developments that threaten the security and stability of Hadramout” and to respond to the direct threats issued by the commander of the UAE-funded “Security Support” forces, Saleh Abu Bakr Al-Sheikh, known as “Abu Ali Al-Hadrami.”

“Abu Ali Al-Hadrami” had threatened Bin Habrish and the Alliance’s Saudi-backed factions with making them “pay the price,” describing his movements as “unacceptable” and a threat to public security. He also threatened to cut off Saudi military support and supplies to the tribal alliance and its “Hadramout Protection” factions.

This escalation comes amid observers’ expectations that the UAE is pushing its factions to ignite conflict with the “Hadramout Protection” factions, which Bin Habrish formed with Saudi support and funding to gain control over oil resources.
