Dry to cold wave expected to remain over mountainous highlands of Yemen

SANAA, Nov. 25 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and early warning warned on Tuesday citizens in the mountainous highlands of cold weather in several provinces of Yemen.

In its air bulletin, the center affirmed that a cold wave would target the provinces of Saada, Omran, Sanaa, Dhamar, Bayda, Dhale, Lahj, Abyan, IBB, west of Jawf, and south of Marib, in additional to highlands of Hadramout, Taiz, Rayma, Mahweet and Hajjah.

It called on citizens, especially the elderly, children, patients and workers, to take precautions, especially at night and early morning hours against the cold wave.

The clear to partly cloudy atmosphere hit the western coasts, with active to moderate winds on the Socotra Archipelago, the western coasts and the entrance to Bab el-Mandeb.
