Sanaa Parliament condemns assassination of Al-Tabtabai, calls for confronting “Zionist arrogance”

SANAA, Nov. 24 (YPA) – The Parliament in Sanaa strongly condemned the “crime of assassination” of the Commander in the Lebanese Islamic Resistance, Haitham Ali Al-Tabtabai (“Sayyed Abu Ali”), and a number of fighters in the Southern Suburb of Lebanon, by a “treacherous and cowardly Zionist shelling.”

In a statement issued Monday, the Parliament considered the crime a violation of Lebanon’s sovereignty, a “sinful aggression against civilian life, and a transgression of international law,” describing it as a “blatant threat to security and stability in the region.”

The statement called for strengthening Arab and Islamic unity to confront “Zionist arrogance and bullying.”

The Parliament praised the sacrifices of Al-Tabtabai and his long history of fighting the enemy and supporting the Palestinian cause, offering condolences to Hezbollah and the Islamic Resistance.
