WEST BABK, Nov. 23 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of raids across the occupied West Bank early Sunday, detaining multiple Palestinians.
Occupation forces stormed the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron, detaining a man and his 14-year-old son. Soldiers also fired stun grenades and tear gas indiscriminately toward residential homes, according to local accounts.
During the raid, the occupation forces damaged part of a memorial bearing the names of Beit Ummar’s martyrs — the second time the monument was targeted within 24 hours.
In the Hebron area, the occupation forces arrested a young man after raiding his home in the Sinjar neighborhood of Dura, and detained another from the Hadab al-Sorra area south of the city.
Palestinian sources reported that two more young men were detained in Bethlehem after troops entered al-Saf Street and searched several homes.
In Jericho, the occupation forces arrested a young man from Aqbat Jabr refugee camp following a raid on his residence.
