BEIRUT, Nov. 22 (YPA) – Israeli occupation fighter jets launched a massive and intense aerial attack on Saturday, targeting wide areas in South Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley.
This dangerous escalation reveals the occupation’s disregard for the ceasefire agreements reached last November.
The airstrikes hit the heights of Tariya and Shemstar in eastern Bekaa, and expanded to include the Iqlim al-Tuffah, Al-Jarmak, Al-Mahmoudiya, Kfar Hamam, Jabal al-Rafi’, and the vicinity of Nabatieh in the South.
These attacks resulted in the killing of one civilian in Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah, injuries to two people in Froun, injuries to five civilians in Shaqra due to a stun grenade, and widespread destruction of property.
This escalation indicates that the Israeli occupation continues to violate the ceasefire agreement signed on November 27, 2024, pushing the region toward a new confrontation, amid heavy overflights by Israeli drones in the southern skies.
