Senior Yemen leader puts conditions to achieve peace with Saudi Arabia

SANAA, Nov. 19 (YPA) – A senior Sanaa leader declared on Wednesday Yemen’s conditions to achieve peace with Saudi Arabia, culminating in an intra-Yemeni dialogue free from Saudi interference and control.

Ali al-Qahoum, a member of the political bureau of the Ansarullah movement, stated in a post on X that “the path to peace is clear, and the doors are open if Saudi Arabia is serious”.

Al-Qahoum clarified the path includes halting the aggression, lifting the blockade, ending the occupation, providing reparations, and reconstruction, as well as releasing prisoners.

He added: “Yemenis must be empowered to resolve their problems in a calm and stable environment, free from external control and domination, while respecting Yemen’s sovereignty and independence.”
