WASHINGTON, Nov. 14 (YPA) – The U.S. Department of Defense announced that the State Department has approved a potential $100 million sale of military communications systems to Iraq.
This came in a statement issued Thursday by the Defense Security Cooperation Agency, part of the Department of Defense.
The statement said the State Department approved the sale of $100 million worth of communications and radio systems to Iraq.
The potential sale includes items such as wireless access points, portable radios, radio station systems, and radio repeater systems.
