WASHINGTON, Nov. 14 (YPA) – Twenty-five countries supplied Israel with oil during the war in the Gaza Strip, according to a report published Thursday by the non-governmental organization Oil Change International, which condemned a fossil fuel-based system that is fueling the climate crisis and what it described as “genocide.”
This report, published on the sidelines of the 30th Conference of the Parties (COP30) in Brazil, indicates that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan supplied 70% of crude oil shipments between November 1, 2023, and October 1, 2025.
Russia, Greece, and the United States top the list of countries exporting refined petroleum products to Israel. The United States is the only country that supplies the Jewish state with JP-8 fuel, which is used for military aircraft.
The organization continued, “Their complicity is documented in this report. To hold these countries accountable, they must acknowledge their involvement in this genocide and cease their complicity.”
The NGO commissioned the studies company Data Desk to analyze the oil flows, identifying 323 shipments during the period mentioned, totaling 21.2 million tons.
