Yemeni tribes declare mobilization; Sanaa sends challenge messages to aggressor powers
SANAA, Nov. 07 (YPA) – Yemeni tribes fully equipped with their weapons and gear mobilized across several governorates, declaring an unprecedented state of heightened readiness and general alert, in an awe-inspiring display that re-draws the map of power and popular cohesion in Yemen.
These sweeping movements reflect Sanaa’s preparedness to establish clear deterrence lines against any threat to national sovereignty.
These tribal massings have delivered explicit and powerful messages of defiance to all those contemplating the initiation of a new confrontation against Yemen.
In this context, the Yemeni Shura Council in Sanaa lauded the pivotal role and honorable stance of the Yemeni tribes, asserting that their momentous turnout embodies the resilience and unity of Yemenis in confronting challenges aimed at the nation and the wider Arab world.
In its statement today, Friday, the council affirmed that the tribes’ decision to escalate their readiness and stand in support of the Yemeni Armed Forces sends clear messages to the aggressor powers that “the tribes of Yemen will remain steadfast and at the forefront of the ranks to defend national sovereignty and confront invaders and occupiers.”
The statement noted that the mobilization of the tribes with all their arms underscores the inherent religious pride, valor, and capability to repel anyone who attempts to target the Yemeni people or plunder their wealth and resources.
The Council added that this role is not surprising for the Yemeni tribes, which represent the backbone of society, possess an honorable historical legacy in defeating invaders, and act as “the rock upon which all conspiracies are shattered.”
The Shura Council stressed the importance of continuing the general mobilization and reinforcing unity in preparation for any confrontation sought by the “Global Arrogance forces”—specifically the US and “Israel.”
This is a consequence, according to the statement, of Yemen’s honorable and firm stances in supporting the causes of the nation, foremost among them the Palestinian issue.
The statement highlighted that the significant momentum generated by the tribal gatherings represents a mandate for the choices of the Revolution Leader (Sayyed Abdul-Malik Al-Houthi) in confronting any attempt to compromise Yemen’s security and stability.
