Seven people killed in USA cargo plane crashed

KENTUCKY, Nov. 05 (YPA) – Seven people were killed and 11 others injured when a UPS cargo plane crashed in Kentucky on Wednesday, after takeoff from Muhammad Ali International Airport in Louisville.

Governor Andy Beshear affirmed that the death toll could rise as the search for missing persons continues. The injured were transported to nearby hospitals.

Emergency crews rushed to the crash site to extinguish the fire caused by the MD-11 aircraft, which was bound for Honolulu, Hawaii.

Officials stated that there was no hazardous cargo on board. Videos was circulated online showing the plane’s left engine catching fire during takeoff, and the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
