Sanaa welcomes Pakistan-Afghanistan ceasefire, warns against “Zionist plot”
SANAA, Oct. 23 (YPA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in Sanaa welcomed the agreement reached between Pakistan and Afghanistan on a ceasefire and the establishment of mechanisms to consolidate permanent peace and stability between the two countries.
In a statement issued Wednesday, the ministry affirmed that the agreement is evidence of the commitment of the two neighboring countries to resolving differences by peaceful means and respecting the principles of good neighborliness.
It expressed hope that the agreement would represent a step towards restoring security and stability to the two brotherly countries, serving the interests of both peoples, and strengthening peace in the region.
The ministry also warned against “the Zionist plot” aimed at dragging the Islamic nation into side battles to distract it from its real battle in confronting “the Israeli enemy and its criminal projects.”
