US, UK launch new military airlift to support “Israel” amid rising regional tensions

WASHINGTON, Oct. 22 (YPA) – The United States and the United Kingdom on Wednesday began implementing a new military airlift to support the Israeli occupation, a move that reflects escalating Western activity in the region coinciding with widespread tension on the Lebanon and Iran fronts.

Flight tracking data showed the arrival of several American military cargo planes at “Ben Gurion” Airport in the occupied Palestinian territories, carrying heavy bombs and military equipment. At least three U.S. cargo planes landed in the past hours, concurrent with the arrival of aerial refueling aircraft, with the aim of boosting military supplies to the Israeli side.

In parallel, British sources revealed similar air movements, with British military cargo planes beginning to arrive at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar as a preparatory step for flights heading towards “Israel.”

London announced that these forces are part of what it termed “forces to monitor the cessation of aggression on Gaza,” though the movements suggest a broader field role within the military coordination with Washington.

These developments occur at a time when the region is witnessing a rapid escalation, particularly on the Lebanon front, where Israeli aviation continues its intensive raids up to the outskirts of Beirut, amid Israeli statements about the intention to take unilateral action against Hezbollah.
