TAIZ, Oct. 13 (YPA) -A delegation from the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs in Sanaa in the Sanaa government visited the family of Issa Al-Afari on Saturday, a captive was executed by pro-Islah militias in Taiz province.
The visit was led by the committee’s head, Brigadier General Abdulqader Al-Murtadha, along with his deputy, Murad Qassem, and several committee members.
During the visit, they conveyed the greetings and condolences of the leader of the revolution, Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi, to the family of the slain prisoner.
Al-Murtadha praised the “heroic and enduring stance” of Issa Al-Alfari, calling him a symbol of resistance and sacrifice.
He condemned the execution of Al-Afari as a “heinous crime” that reveals the “hatred of the Islah-affiliated mercenaries” towards the people of the province and the defenders of Yemen’s dignity and sovereignty.
Al-Murtadha stressed that Al-Afari’s blood would not be shed in vain and that such crimes would only strengthen the resolve of the Yemeni people to continue their struggle.
He added that Al-Afari would remain a lasting symbol of courage, defiance, and resistance in the face of aggression and its local mercenaries.
