Report: 7 civilians killed in Saudi-led airstrikes, ground attacks over 24 hours
SANAA, July 31 (YPA) – Seven civilians were killed and five injured when the US-backed Saudi-led coalition launched a series of airstrikes and ground attacks on several provinces of Yemen during the past 24 hours, according to reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Tuesday.
- In Saada province:
A civilian was injured by the fires of Saudi border guards in Monabeh border district.
Missile and artillery shells targeted residential areas of Baqem border district.
An airstrike hit Sha’er mount in Atfain area of Kuraf district.
- In Hodeidah province:
Four civilians were killed and five injured, including children and women, who were on their way from Duraihimi to Kilo-16 in Hali district.
16 airstrikes hit Kawi areas, Kilo-16 area, Maqbara northern Duraihimi and on a main road.
Four airstrikes were waged on Agricultural Extension centervin Duraihimi district.
Two airstrikes hit Rural Hospital residence in Duraihimi.
Saudi-backed militiamen killed a Gas seller in Tuhaita district.
- In Jawf province:
A civilian and a his son were killed when an air raid hit a main road of Bart-Anan district.
- In border province of Jizan:
Two airstrikes hit Tuliq mount.
