Gaza death toll rises to 67,211 martyrs

GAZA, Oct. 10 (YPA) – The death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 67,211 martyrs and 169,961 injuries since October 7, 2023, the Health Ministry in Gaza said on Friday.

A ministry statement said that 17 bodies and 71 wounded were brought to hospitals in the last 24 hours, while several victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the streets, as rescue and civil defense teams have been unable to reach them until now.

It also reported the arrival of five new injuries, bringing the total number of Palestinians killed while seeking aid to 2,615, with over 19,182 others wounded since May 27.

The Israeli occupation resumed its attacks on the Gaza Strip on March 18 and has since killed 13,598 people and injured 57,849 others, shattering a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took hold in January.
