19 killed in Israeli bombing, famine death toll rises to 460 in Gaza

GAZA, Oct. 05 (YPA) – At least 19 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip were killed on Sunday as a result of Israeli occupation shelling and raids that targeted various areas of the strip since dawn, medical sources reported.

In a related context, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced the recording of one new death over the past 24 hours due to famine and malnutrition.

This raises the total number of victims of malnutrition to 460 martyrs since the start of the Israeli aggression, including 154 children.

In a statement, the ministry clarified that 182 deaths have been recorded since the declaration of the advanced stage of famine classification in Gaza (IPC), including 39 children, amidst continuous warnings of the deteriorating health and humanitarian situation in the strip.
