Hezbollah declares its support for Hamas’s position on Trump’s plan to stop Israeli aggression on Gaza

BEIRUT, Oct. 05 (YPA) – The Lebanese Hezbollah party announced its full support for the position taken by the Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, in consultation and coordination with the rest of the Palestinian resistance factions, regarding US President Donald Trump’s plan to stop the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.

In a statement, Hezbollah said that Hamas’s position stems from its keenness to stop the brutal Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza, and at the same time affirms its adherence to the principles of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.

The statement added that this position also reflects the insistence of Hamas and the Palestinian factions on the unity of the Palestinian national ranks, and the emphasis that any future negotiations must be based on national consensus based on legitimate Palestinian rights, ensuring the occupation’s withdrawal from the entire Gaza Strip, preventing the displacement of its residents, and enabling the Palestinians to manage their political, security, and living affairs themselves without any external tutelage.

At the conclusion of its statement, Hezbollah called on all Arab and Islamic countries to stand by the Palestinian people and support their positions and resistance at all political, media, and humanitarian levels, in order to stop the Israeli aggression on Gaza and the West Bank, prevent the displacement of the population, and contribute to the reconstruction of the Strip and the restoration of full Palestinian national rights.
