Israeli officer injured in Syria landmine

DAMASCUS, Sept. 28 (YPA) – The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported an explosion was heard on Monday in the Tel al-Hamar area in the southern countryside of Quneitra province, an area where Israeli forces are stationed, leading to injuring an Israeli officer.

Simultaneously, Israeli reconnaissance aircraft were observed flying over the area. The source indicated that a landmine exploded near Tel Kudna, targeting a stationary Israeli tank.

Israeli media outlets confirmed that an officer was seriously wounded in the explosion near the military site in southern Syria.
