IRGC vows continued support for ‘axis of resistance’ until liberation of Quds

TEHRAN, Sept. 27 (YPA) – Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) affirmed on Saturday, in a statement, its full and continuous support for the “axis of resistance” in the region, emphasizing that this approach will persist until the complete elimination of the “Israeli occupation” and the “liberation of Holy Quds.”

The affirmation came on the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of General Nilforoushan and Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah. The statement reported that the IRGC views continued support for the resistance as an “indispensable divine and national duty” in this sensitive phase.

The statement described the martyrdom of resistance leaders as a “pivotal station in the journey of Islamic awakening and strengthening of the anti-Zionist front.” The IRGC also stressed that the security and honor of the Islamic nation have not been achieved through “political compromises” but are the fruit of the “sacrifices of the Mujahideen and men of the resistance.”

Referring to the current situation, the IRGC clarified that the escalation of Israeli occupation crimes against Gaza demonstrates the “fortitude of the resistance front and the enemy’s inability to extinguish its flame,” asserting that the resistance is a “living, deep-rooted identity, ideology, and culture” and not an institution that can be resolved through political channels.

The IRGC also declared its full support for Sheikh Naim Qassem, the successor to the leadership of Hezbollah, commending his stances and efforts in “preserving Lebanon’s security and continuing the path of resistance.”

The statement concluded that the dreams of “Zionists and Americans to weaken or eliminate the resistance” will repeatedly lead to disappointment and humiliation.
