Early Warning issues severe warnings to citizens in Yemen

SANAA, Sept. 26 (YPA) – The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning has issued new alerts for thunderstorms and flash floods on Friday, specifically in areas expected to receive rainfall.

In its weather forecast, the most crucial warning is for public safety: Do not attempt to cross or be near wadis or flood channels during or immediately after rain.

Additionally, motorists should be expected and cautious of reduced visibility on roads and mountain slopes due to fog and low-lying clouds.

Finally, a separate warning has been issued for the sea: Rough seas and high waves are expected in the Gulf of Aden and around the Socotra archipelago and the eastern/southern coasts, posing a risk to seafarers and fishermen.
