Southern leader declares full readiness to defend Sanaa

ADEN, Sept. 21 (YPA) – A leader of the “Southern Resistance” announced on Saturday his readiness to defend Sana’a, following the threats made by Israeli Defense Minister, Yisrael Katz, to raise the Israeli flag in the Yemeni capital.

In a post on X, the tribal leader, Salem Abu Zaid al-Khalifi, stated that any move to form e alliances, whether on land or sea, following the threats by the leaders of the Zionist entity to raise the Israeli flag in Sanaa, would force the tribes and free people of Yemen, in the north and south, to rally around Ansarullah in Sanaa.

He added that unity would prevail over internal differences in the face of what he described as “Zionist aggression”, as a natural reaction to those threats.

Al-Khalifi emphasized that his current stance is a historically crucial one, warning that history and future generations to condemn anyone who fails to act or collaborates with Zionism.
