SANAA, Sept. 18 (YPA) – The leader of the Ansarallah movement, Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi, issued a strong warning to the Saudi regime on Thursday against getting involved in any military action against Yemen or providing support to the Israeli enemy to protect its ships at sea.
In his weekly speech, Sayyed Al-Houthi confirmed that the ban on Israeli navigation in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandeb strait would continue. He noted that any party attempting to intervene to protect these ships would face the same response as “Israel.”
He specifically addressed Saudi Arabia, stating, “Do not get yourselves involved in militarily supporting the Israeli enemy to protect its ships at sea… Shame on you; this is a disgrace, and at the same time, you will not succeed in doing so.”
Al-Houthi revealed that Saudi Arabia’s announcement of a partnership with Britain in the Red Sea is, in reality, aimed at protecting Israeli navigation. He stressed that all efforts to stop Yemeni operations to protect Israeli navigation are “doomed to fail.”
Sayyed Al-Houthi concluded his speech by emphasizing that the ban in the Red Sea is limited to Israeli ships only and that the Yemeni position is one of support for the Palestinian people against an enemy that targets the entire nation.
