Al-Bukhaiti blasts pro-coalition minister’s stance on Israeli strikes in Sanaa

SANAA, Sept. 18 (YPA) -Ansarullah Political Bureau’s member and Governor of Dhamar province, Mohammed Al-Bukhaiti, has reacted to a minister loyal to the Saudi-led coalition, who expressed discontent over recent Israeli airstrikes on Sanaa.

“Whoever does not care about Gaza will not care about Sanaa. And if Sanaa truly mattered to you, you wouldn’t have called for global aggression against it—an aggression that did not even spare funeral and wedding halls,” Mohammed al-Bukhaiti wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter), in response to the pro-coalition Minister of Endowments (Awqaf).

“Tell me honestly: Didn’t you fight us for two decades under the pretext of ‘protecting Sunnis’ from Shiites? So where is that zeal today for the Sunnis of Palestine?” he added.

He continued, “If you’ve chosen cowardice over standing with the Palestinians, then why does it bother you when we step up to support them?”

Al-Bukhaiti also accused pro-coalition figures of adopting the Israeli narrative, saying: “The tragedy is that you now echo the Zionists’ talking points, blaming the resistance for the crimes committed by the occupation. You only declare jihad when it aligns with the interests of America and Israel. We never had to expose you — you exposed yourselves.”
