Southern component condemns Zionist aggression on Hodeida

ADEN, Sept. 17 (YPA) – The Southern Movement, a political component participating in the National Dialogue Conference that signed the Peace and Partnership Agreement, condemned the Zionist aggression on Hodeida province, west of Yemen.

In a statement, the movement considered this aggression to be clear and explicit evidence of the resentment and anger of the Zionist and American enemy over Yemen’s honorable and courageous historical stances in support of the Palestinian people and its valiant resistance.

The statement stressed that the Israeli aggression will strengthen the Yemeni people’s commitment to its positions in support of the Palestinian people and the free people of Gaza in the face of Israeli terrorism.

It praised the qualitative military operations that the Sanaa-based armed forces have been carrying out into the depth of the Zionist enemy in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The statement noted that the immediate and rapid response to the aggression, its type and size, was a devastating message to the enemies of the nation and confirming the superiority and readiness of the armed forces to confront any escalation.

It emphasized that the port of Hodeida is a purely civilian facility used for the entry of food, essential goods, and medicine, adding that any attempt to harm it would harm all Yemenis and exacerbate the humanitarian tragedy the country is witnessing.
