Report: Yemen army inflicts Saudi troops heavy casualties over 24 hours
SANAA, July 30 (YPA) – The Yemen army inflicted Saudi army and its militiamen heavy losses in lives and equipment by military operations, including missile, artillery and sniping attacks, during the past 24 hours, according to military reports combined by Yemen Press Agency on Monday.
• In Bayda province:
A short-range ballistic missile was fired toward gatherings of Saudi-backed militiamen in Juraibat.
Dozens of militiamen were killed and wounded by an explosive device in Qarha hill of Natea front.
A militiaman was sniped and a military vehicle was damaged in Fadhaa valley of Natea.
• In border province of Najran:
Gatherings of militiamen were shelled by artillery in Alib mounts and in front of Khathraa border crossing.
A military vehicle was bombed by the fires of sniper unit of the army in Sawh area.
• In Asir border province:
Katyusha rockets and artillery shells were fired toward gatherings of militiamen in front of Alb border crossing.
• In Yemen’s western coast:
Three militiamen were sniped in coastal road western Duraohimi district.
• In Taiz province:
Artillery force of the army shelled gatherings of militiamen in Selw district.
• In Marib province:
Sniper unit of the army shot dead two of Saudi-backed militiamen in Serwah front.
