Al-Qassam Brigades destroy two Israeli tanks in northern Gaza

GAZA, Sept. 15 (YPA) –  The Al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), announced on Sunday that their fighters had destroyed two Israeli Merkava tanks at the Al-Saftawi junction, west of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza

“After their return from the front lines, Al-Qassam fighters confirmed detonating two highly explosive landmines targeting two Zionist Merkava tanks at the Safatawi intersection, west of Jabalia camp, ” Al-Qassam Brigades said in a statement on Sunday.

Palestinian resistance factions continue to confront advancing Israeli occupation forces and military vehicles in the Gaza Strip, as part of the ongoing battle known as “Al-Aqsa Flood,” amid an Israeli military campaign that has now entered its second year.
