Malaysia condemns Israeli attacks on Yemen, 5 other countries

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept. 14 (YPA) – Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has strongly condemned the “Israeli attacks” that have targeted Yemen and five other countries in the region, describing them as an “unacceptable audacity” that reflects the aggressive approach of the occupation government.

In a speech reported by Malaysian newspaper “The Star” on Saturday, Ibrahim pointed out that in a short period, “Israel” has carried out raids on Qatar, Syria, Yemen, Palestine, and Lebanon, in addition to targeting the “Global Sumud Flotilla” in Tunisia’s territorial waters.

“It is unacceptable for Israel to launch attacks on six countries within a week or two with this level of audacity,” he stated.

Ibrahim announced that he would represent Malaysia at the Arab-Islamic Summit scheduled for Monday in Doha to reaffirm his country’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause.
