WEST BANK, Sept. 11 (YPA) – Zionist Settlers attacked the town of Atara, north of Ramallah, at dawn on Thursday.
Palestinian sources reported that settlers attacked the town and attempted to set fire to a vehicle, damaging its exterior.
They also spray-painted racist slogans on the walls of local resident Rami Sarahneh’s home.
In August, Israeli settlers set up a new outpost on Palestinian land, aiming to seize a 2,000-dunam mountain area that includes an archaeological site.
According to the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission, over 1,600 attacks were recorded last month against Palestinians and their property in the West Bank. Israeli occupation forces carried out 1,182 of these, while settlers were responsible for 431.
