Israeli occupation continues its assault on villages and towns near Jerusalem for the 3rd day

QUDS, Sept. 10 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces continued their raids on towns and villages northwest of occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem) for the third consecutive day.

Palestinian sources said that the occupation forces stormed the town of Biddu, amidst confrontations, and fired live ammunition, tear gas, and sound bombs at citizens. They raided and searched several homes.

The sources added that the occupation launched a large-scale raid on homes in the towns of Qatna and al-Qubayba, assaulting citizens, ransacking and searching their contents, and turning a home into a military barracks. They detained and interrogated citizens on the spot.

The occupation forces tightened their military measures at the Tunnel checkpoint between the towns of Biddu and al-Jib, checking citizens’ IDs and searching their vehicles, impeding their movement and causing a severe traffic jam.
