WEST BANK, Sept. 09 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday blew up the home of Palestinian prisoner Thabet Masalma in the town of Beit Awwa, southwest of Hebron, sparking confrontations that injured several citizens.
Palestinian sources reported that a large military force stormed the town, surrounded Masalma’s home, and prevented residents from reaching it. Israeli soldiers then planted explosives inside and blew it up completely.
During the raid, confrontations erupted with young men, during which IOF soldiers fired live ammunition, wounding two citizens in the lower extremities.
Dozens more suffered from suffocation from tear gas inhalation, which was heavily fired by the occupation forces in the area.
The occupation accused Masalma of participating in a shooting attack that took place about eight months ago at the al-Khader junction, which killed one Zionist settler and injured of three others.
