WEST BANK, Aug. 27 (YPA) – Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Nablus at dawn on Wednesday and imposed a siege on its old town.

Palestinian sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the city with dozens of military vehicles, positioned themselves in the center, and imposed a siege on the old town.

They began raiding citizens’ homes inside, forcing several families to evacuate their homes in the al-Qadhba neighborhood and informing them to return on Wednesday afternoon.

They indicated that the occupation forces deployed throughout the city’s neighborhoods, deploying snipers in the Sufyan Street area and Martyrs’ Square in the city center. They also raided several shops in the Ras al-Ain area.
