PIJ condemns Zionist aggression on Yemen

GAZA, Aug. 25 (YPA) -The  Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), condemned the Israeli aggression against Yemen, describing it as a war crime carried out in partnership with the United States.

In a statement, the movement said that the “treacherous Israeli attacks on civilian facilities in Yemen, fully encouraged and supported by the US, represent a new war crime by the Israeli entity and the American administration, adding to their ongoing criminal record against Arab and Muslim peoples.”

The statement emphasized that “the brave and resilient Yemeni people, along with their Armed Forces, remain a thorn in the Zionist illusions in the region, paying the price for their steadfast support of the Palestinian people and efforts to stop the aggression on Gaza and lift the siege on its population, despite ongoing attacks and threats.”

Islamic Jihad lauded “the sacrifices of the Yemeni people and their Armed Forces,” praising “their steadfastness, courage, and resilience in facing this aggression until achieving victory over Zionist barbarism, just as they previously overcame American aggression.”
