Israeli occupation forces continue genocidal war in Gaza for 685th day

GAZA, Aug. 21 (YPA) – The Israeli occupation forces continue their genocidal war in the Gaza Strip for the 685th consecutive day through aerial and artillery bombardment, killing starving and displaced civilians with US political and military support, amid international silence and unprecedented failure from the global community.

According to Palestinian sources, the occupation forces launched dozens of airstrikes and committed further massacres, as the displacement crisis worsens—impacting over two million people suffering from severe famine.

Medical sources in Gaza hospitals confirmed that several civilians have been killed by Israeli  occupation forces in various areas of the Strip since dawn today.

Israeli artillery shelled northern Khan Younis amid intense gunfire from Israeli military vehicles.

The artillery also heavily bombarded the town of Jabalia in northern Gaza, while occupying forces demolished residential blocks in the northern part of the Strip.

One person was killed and others were wounded in an Israeli airstrike at dawn today targeting an apartment in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City.
